About Our Monastery
The Holy Transfiguration Antiochian Orthodox Monastery is part of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America and grows under the loving guidance of His Eminence Metropolitan SABA, Archbishop of New York and Metropolitan of All North America. Founded on July 17, 2025, our monastery and retreat centre exist to foster a life of prayer, fasting, and devotion — a place where monastics and pilgrims alike can encounter God through Scripture, the teachings of the Holy Fathers, and the rhythm of daily monastic life.
On June 29, 2026, His Eminence Metropolitan SABA visited the monastery grounds and blessed the property with Holy Water, entrusting this sacred work to God’s providence. We are grateful for his continued guidance and prayers as this vision takes root.
